Interesting post about being an expat

Alexia, an expat mum living in London, who blogs at A Mum in London, has collated a number of views of the best and worst about expat life. Definitely worth a visit - and see if you can guess what I said, before you click over.

    1. I'm so British I didn't even know I had. I had to go over and re-read my bit, and then I spotted the "sorry" in there!

  2. Loved it! Looking for every bit of expat views I can get my hands on. Good to know my feelings are pretty much what everyone thinks/feels. It's quite a journey!

  3. I really identified with the 20/30-something who talked about family guilt and said it just made being together more enjoyable. That's how I felt at her age too, but by my late 40s, I realized just how much I had lost by being away. I'm trying to make up for lost time now that I'm home, but you can never get those years back (or the people who passed away while you were gone).
